Supplies

Rosewater

  • 3 to 4 unsprayed roses, petals removed and rinsed
  • Distilled water
  • Non-reactive stainless steel pot
  • Clean glass container

Rosewater Face Mist

  • Distilled water
  • Rosewater (homemade, see below, or store-bought)
  • 4 to 6 drops high-quality Frankincense oil
  • Glass spray bottle

Lavender Bath Salts

  • 3 cups Epsom salt
  • 20 to 30 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 1 cup medium-coarse pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/2 cup magnesium flakes
  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender

Passo a passo

Rosewater

  1. Place the rose petals in a medium saucepan and cover with distilled water.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Take care not to boil the mixture.
  3. Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes or so, then strain the mixture into a glass jar.
  4. Refrigerate.

Rosewater Face Mist

  1. Fill the glass jars one-fourth of the way with distilled water and then top with rosewater.
  2. Add Frankincense oil to the jars and shake to mix. Spritz away!

Lavender Bath Salts

  1. In a medium glass bowl mix the Epsom salt, lavender oil and peppermint oil.
  2. Using gloved hands, mix the oil into the salts by rubbing it between your fingers.
  3. Mix in remaining ingredients and place in a large Mason jar.
