O chef Royce compartilha seu amor pelas comidas de travessa e prepara um frango ao curry com mel e arroz com chilli e queijo. Para acompanhar, ele faz uma salada verde e, de sobremesa, um doce que ele chama de Bananas de Santa Bárbara.
Ingredientes
- 2 cups heavy whipped cream
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup Japanese brown sugar
- 4 bananas, sliced into ¼ inch rounds
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Passo a passo
- Whip cream until it just forms peak but not overly stiff.
- Fold in sour cream until thoroughly mixed. Set aside.
- Melt the butter in a saute pan.
- Once melted add the bananas and saute on medium-high heat until they begin caramelizing.
- Add ½ cup sugar and cayenne pepper and a pinch of salt to taste.
- When bananas are at the desired consistency spoon onto a plate, top with whipped cream and sprinkle the remaining sugar over the top. Serve.

- 1 head red lettuce
- 1 head radicchio
- 2 bunches mint
- 1 bunch cilantro, roughly chopped
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste

- Roughly tear lettuce, radicchio, and mint leaves. Add to a bowl along with cilantro.
- In a small bowl combine olive oil, lemon juice, and sugar.
- Whisk vigorously until emulsified, add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the dressing to the bowl of greens and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

- 3 cups jasmine rice, cooked
- 2 small cans of chopped green chilis
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 ½ cup jack cheese, shredded

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix jasmine rice, sour cream and about ¾ of cheese and chilies.
- Place into casserole dish top with remaining cheese and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese browns.

- 6 bone-in skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup mustard
- 8 ounces salted butter, room temperature

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small saucepan, whisk the honey, mustard, butter on medium heat until thoroughly mixed and slightly thickened, about 4 minutes.
- Pour the honey mixture over chicken thighs in a casserole dish and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken has reached 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
